Rav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman (רב אהרון לייב שטינמן) was a Haredi rabbi in Bnei Brak, Israel. He is credited with reviving and expanding the appeal of European-style yeshivas in Israel.

Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman (רב אהרון לייב שטינמן), born in Brest, Russia in 1914. He was appointed as the Rosh Kollel of the Ponevezh Kollel and later as the Rosh Yeshiva of the Ponevezh Yeshiva Ketana in Bnei Brak – where he gave a regular shiur for 43 years.
Known for his sefer on Talmud – Ayeles HaShachar – he undertook numerous trips in his later years to visit and encourage Jewish communities in North and South America as well as throughout Europe.
He was a leader of the Degel Hatorah political party until his passing in 2017.
He, along with several other Gedolim, amongst them Rav Shach and Rav Elyashiv, is credited with reviving and expanding the appeal of European-style yeshivos in Israel.
